Teaching Entrepreneurship: Coding Academy
Edufern has realised that most students do not have the literacy skills needed to comprehend textbooks.
Edufern has developed a job creation and skills development incubator that trains high school learners and "school-leavers" on coding in C# and how to create Unity developments.

The internship helps secure jobs in Industry 4.0. After completing high school, learners will have the skills to start generating an income.

Assessment

Innovative EdTech Reaching Rural Communities
Edufern has developed a distinct and unique assessment technology and methodology. Our subject matter experts quickly identify the strengths and weaknesses of learners in each subject.

We send qualified individuals to each school with a laptop, projector and clickers to conduct the tests. Then our subject experts analyse the results and provide training to teachers and learners.

Understanding is Key: Subject Dictionaries
Edufern has realised that most students do not have the literacy skills needed to comprehend textbooks.
A majority of students do not have the literacy skills necessary to comprehend secondary school textbooks.

Only 6% of 17-year olds can read and gain information from specialised texts, such as the science section of a newspaper.
​
Students are expected to add 2,000-3,000 words per year to their reading vocabularies. Edufern has created content-specific dictionaries to remedy this problem.
